Heart of
the Mountain is a group of dedicated volunteers working together with the
County
of San Mateo and the California
Native Plant Society to help bring San Bruno Mountain back to a stable
ecological balance.
Heart of the Mountain recently received three years of funding for extensive restoration along the upper reaches of the Colma Creek's headwaters thanks to the County of San Mateo and project sponsorship by the non-profit organization The Watershed Project.

Simply show up on every other Saturday at 10AM at San Bruno Mountain’s main parking lot. You’ll enjoy two hours of good company, good work, tasty goodies, and beautiful surroundings. Heavy rain cancels, but when in doubt call (650)355-6635 after 7am.
